A well-planned commercial move starts 4–6 weeks before the move date. Here's the preparation checklist we walk every client through.

• ✓Assign a company move coordinator — one person on your team who is our single point of contact for all move decisions and scheduling.
• ✓Audit your inventory — decide what comes to the new office, what gets donated or recycled, and what goes into storage before the move begins.
• ✓Notify building management at both locations at least 2 weeks in advance to reserve freight elevators and loading dock access.
• ✓Alert IT early so they can plan disconnection and reconnection schedules for servers, phone systems, and network infrastructure.
• ✓Create a floor plan of your new office space — assign workstations, conference rooms, and storage before moving day so placement is efficient.
• ✓Communicate with staff — let employees know move dates, what they're responsible for packing personally, and what the crew will handle.
• ✓Secure sensitive files and equipment — confidential documents, medical records, and regulated materials should be packed in labeled, lockable containers.
• ✓Plan for the first day — confirm internet and phone will be active, set up a temporary workstation if any systems will take time to reconnect, and communicate with clients if any brief service interruption is expected.

  Our crew disassembles all modular office furniture, cubicle systems, conference tables, and shelving units at origin and fully reassembles at the destination. We document layout configurations in advance so setup at the new location is accurate and efficient.

  Yes. We handle all logistics with building management at both the origin and destination — including scheduling freight elevator access, obtaining loading dock permits, and coordinating move windows within building rules.
